Hi Isaac

It is correct to use the '|' sign to separate the explanatory variables that explain inefficiency from the explanatory variables that explain the frontier. The error message indicates that one or more of your variables are not 'numeric', 'logical' or 'complex' variables but are something else (e.g. character strings). If you still cannot find the problem, please post a minimal reproducible example.

Best wishes,
Arne

Dear Dr. Arnne,
I would like to ask you how to run Battese and Coelli, 1995. I have tried to use the | key to write out my model but it gives me an error like "operations are possible only for numeric, logical or complex types". Please I need you help on how to include Z variables in my model. Thanks
