Hi Karol, thanks for your message. Sorry for not being able to get back for your earlier replies as well. With this approach it works perfectly fine. Cheers |

Hi Prasanta, are you encountering this error when trying to install the binary version of gEcon (ended with .zip suffix)? If your R is 4.2 you should be able to install gEcon from tar.gz file. You have to install R Tools 4.2 ( https://cran.r-project.org/bin/windows/Rtools/rtools42/rtools.html ) and then install package either using R command install.packages("[path]/gEcon_1.2.0.tar.gz", repos = NULL, type = "source") or using RStudio GUI. |

gEcon 1.2.0 is fully compatible with R-3.5.X. We have kicked off work on updating the package/building binary files so that the users could install the package on R 4.2. This may take some time (we target to release a new version by January 2023) so the safest way to install gEcon now is to use it with any of gEcon-compatible R versions. |

Hello Forum Members, My problem is that package installation fails and shows the following message, "Error in install.packages : package ‘gEcon’ not installed because it is not built for UCRT". Would be nice if anyone can advise how to resolve it. Thanks |
