Question Regarding the efficiencies.frontier() Function [ Reply ]

I hope you are doing well. I'm currently using your frontier package and have a question about the efficiencies.frontier() function.

I noticed that this function uses (fittedStar / tInd) in its technical efficiency calculation when logDepVar is FALSE (my DV is not logged), where it seems to be representing an average fitted value. I'm wondering why we are not using fitted_it, representing a specific point-in-time fitted value, as it is shown in the first line of p.165 of (Battese and Coelli, 1992, <doi:10.1007/BF00158774>)

Could you kindly explain why the function uses (fittedStar / tInd) instead of fitted_it? Any insight you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your time and your work on this package.

Best,
Kenith
