Can the package build status be read from anywhere on, for example, https://r-forge.r-project.org/R/?group_id=602 non-interactively? The idea is to inform on status before using download.packages(). Second similar question, can the current revision number be read non-interactively (yes, svn info -r 'HEAD' --show-item 'revision' svn://svn.r-forge.r-project.org/svnroot/rgeos/ does it) - are there other ways?
