I am contributor to and maintainer of a couple of projects here on R-forge. what would you think about providing on r-forge a history of the build results for the projects hosted? do you know the jenkins continuous integration and job scheduling service? one could install that and alter it so that no configuration would be needed: all packages built no question asked.
some of the projects I contribute to here on r-forge contain unit testing and when R CMD check pkg is run, a report.xml is produced. this report lists all results of the unit tests run and this can include examples results. the format for the report file is the apache ant junit xml schema:

this report could be part of the build history for the packages.
I'm interested in hearing what people here think about this.
