Detailed description
I wanted to add support for OpenMP since a while back. I will launch a branch for this and see how it goes and we can decide later on if we keep it or not. It's not necessary that we have to use OpenMP. It's good to have the option though. I have some code written in Github. I'll push it into R-Forge.
