Attached is a XML file loaded from Ambit 2 using Suunto's Moveslink software. R-R data is located in the end of the file, inside IBI element. AFAIK, Suunto hasn't made available any official technical documentation of the file format. I used post at http://forums.watchuseek.com/f233/hr-vs-r-r-865207-2.html to figure out the meaning of the IBI element.

I do not see any problem with your Suunto XML Ambit patch, and we can include it in RHRV. Nevertheless, we do not have technical information about this file format, and, furthermore, we could not find any example with this format in order to test its suitability for doing HRV analysis. Could you send us some test files? Do you have technical information about this format?
We hope to include your patch in RHRV as soon as possible.
