Dear all,
I would like to create a link on my project home page that would automagically create a .zip (or .tgz) of some directory from the svn tree.
More precisely, I have a vignette with huge data file (uncompressed 31 MB). So I don't want to include it into the package. I'd rather add a download link to the project summary page that fetches a .zip file containing the head revision of the respective directory. Preferred format is .zip, as many of my colleagues are somewhat afraid of .tgz. And of course are also afraid of browsing the svn tree, not to speak of doing an export or checkout.
I tried the viewvc .tar.gz automagic, but got an error message that this is not allowed.
As an alternative, would it be possible to have a download Button for the directory view of the svn tree?
