Problem on package raster : function buffer() does not work anymore [it did yesterday] Problem was describe 5 month ago here : https://gis.stackexchange.com/questions/264133/raster-buffer-error-with-package-updates/284882#284882 I just wanted to signal that I have to download again raster package yesterday (01-06-2018, v. 2.6-7 instead of v.2.6-8) and I have the exact same problem with R3.5 version and R3.3.2 The solution using "rasterOptions(todisk=TRUE)" also solved my problem.
